If you’ve always been a book lover (like me), then chances are good you’ve got a list in your head of some of your all-time favorite classic kid’s books. As I’ve grown older, I’ve become a bit more picky about what books I like. But back when I was a kid, there were plenty of books that I loved and cherished. Even now, I’ve been known to stop in my tracks and flip through one of my all-time favorite picture books if I come across it in a library or at a book store.
And why not? I don’t think that we ever outgrow the love we have for illustrations. Plenty of adults smile and even lol at webcomics every day. Even the simplest of pictures can elicit emotional responses if they’re done well.
